The almond cream is a one of a kind handmade product, prepared with fresh and natural almonds, harvested when perfectly ripe and finely ground to obtain a creamy and velvety consistency. The traditional recipe calls for the use of very little sugar to keep the bitter-sweet taste of the almonds intense, furthermore it does not contain preservatives, colorings and artificial flavourings, thus guaranteeing a 100% natural product.
Almonds are particularly rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium, which help maintain good heart, bone, muscle and nervous system health. In addition to being healthy, almond cream is also tasty and versatile, ideal to accompany croutons, bread or to be used as an ingredient in various sweet recipes, such as the preparation of ice cream, biscuits, custard, and panna cotta, but also for prepare stuffed pasta or to enrich sauces for meat or fish.

Almond and strawberry cake

In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt and yeast together. In another bowl, mix together the eggs, almond oil and vanilla. Combine the two compounds and mix well. Add the strawberries cut into cubes to the dough and mix well. Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Let the cake cool before garnishing with the almond cream.
