Limoncello is one of the best known and most appreciated homemade liqueurs. Our liqueur is obtained by immersing PGI Syracuse lemon peels in pure alcohol, when the lemon peels have given up their color and aromas, the alcohol is mixed with a syrup of water and sugar. Once ready, the limoncello must macerate in the bottle for about 1 month. The result is a sweet and very fragrant liqueur with an alcohol content of about 30 degrees, ideal to serve after meals, as a digestive, on fruit salad or in long drinks. To be served chilled or at room temperature in chilled glasses.
