Pistachio cream is a unique artisan product of its kind, prepared with superior quality pistachios, harvested when perfectly ripe and processed immediately after harvesting to keep their organoleptic and nutritional properties intact. The traditional recipe calls for the use of very little sugar to keep the bitter-sweet taste of the pistachio intense, furthermore it does not contain preservatives, colorings and artificial flavourings, thus guaranteeing a 100% natural product.
Pistachios are particularly rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium, which help maintain good heart, bone, muscle and nervous system health. In addition to being healthy, pistachio cream is also tasty and versatile, ideal to accompany croutons, bread or to be used as an ingredient in various sweet recipes, such as the preparation of ice cream, biscuits, custard, and panna cotta.

Pistachio and chocolate cake

In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt and yeast together. In another bowl, mix together the sugar, egg, oil and vanilla. Combine the two compounds and mix well. Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Let the cake cool before garnishing with the pistachio cream.

Pistachio and pear cake

In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, yeast and chopped pistachio. In another bowl, mix together the sugar, egg, oil and vanilla. Combine the two compounds and mix well. Add the diced pears to the dough and mix well. Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Let the cake cool before garnishing with the pistachio cream.
