The almond paste biscuits are a delight for the palate, made with a few simple high quality ingredients. The basis of these biscuits is almond flour, which gives them an intense flavor and a unique texture. The almond paste is then mixed with sugar and eggs to obtain a soft and malleable dough. After being cooked, the biscuits take on an external crunchiness which makes them perfect to accompany tea or coffee. These sweets are typical of Italian cuisine and are often used as an alternative to classic oven-baked biscuits. Thanks to their crunchy texture and delicate flavor, almond paste cookies are a great choice for those who want to enjoy a small delicacy without going overboard on calories.
